First high resolution interferometric observation of a solar prominence with ALMA

We present the first observation of a solar prominence at $84-116$ GHz using high resolution interferometric imaging ALMA. Simultaneous observations in H$\alpha$ from Bia{\l}kaw Observatory and with SDO/AIA reveal similar morphology to ALMA observation. The contribution functions 3 mm emission are shown have significant overlap across range gas pressures. estimate maximum millimetre-continuum optical thickness be $\tau_\mathrm{3mm}\approx 2$, brightness temperature observed intensity. measured by is $\sim 6000-7000$ K spine, which correlates well estimated for 8000 K.
